ACTION ALERT DAY: Tracking strong to severe thunderstorms late Sunday through early Monday

Multiple rounds of strong to severe thunderstorm activity will push across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas Sunday evening and overnight, potentially lingering into Monday morning. Gusty winds, pockets of hail, and locally heavy rainfall will be the primary hazards locally, although a brief tornado cannot be ruled out. Be sure to have a way to receive alerts overnight as storms push through the area.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued across parts of Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas through 4 a.m. Monday morning.

A Flood Watch has been issued for all of Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas through 7 p.m. Monday.
