Gov. Mike Kehoe declares State of Emergency due to upcoming weather

MISSOURI (KQTV) — Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe has signed an executive order declaring a State of Emergency due to forecasted weather across Missouri.

In a social media post Thursday evening, Kehoe detailed the reason for the Executive Order, where he said the act would allow the state to respond quickly and support local communities as needed.

“Please, if you can, stay off the roads,” said Kehoe. “Let these men and women who know how to get the roads safe for our families do their work.”

Kehoe also asked Missourians to stay informed, plan ahead and use extreme caution if traveling.
