MSHSAA releases sectional, quarterfinal round basketball neutral host sites

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KQTV) The Missouri State High School Activities Association has released the host sites for the state basketball tournaments.
For Class 6 Boys District 7 vs. District 8 quarterfinal round game, that game will be played at Liberty North High School on March 14. The girls’ game will be played at Blue Springs High School on March 13.
Class 4 Girls District 15 vs. District 16 sectional round game will be played at Kearney High School on March 9. In the quarterfinals, District 13/14 versus District 15/16 will be at Liberty North.
The boys’ sectional game will be played at Staley High School on March 10. The quarterfinal round game between District 13/14 and District 15/16 will be at North Kansas City.
In Class 3, the Girls District 15 vs. District 16 sectional game will be played at East Buchanan on March 2. The quarterfinal round game will be at Oak Park.
The boys’ sectional game will be played at St. Joseph Christian on March 3. The quarterfinal round will be at Staley.
Springer Gymnasium at Benton High School will be the host site for the Class 2 Girls Sectional round between District 15 and District 16 on March 2. The quarterfinal will be at Excelsior Springs.
As for the boys’ sectional game, Mid-Buchanan will be the host site on March 3. The quarterfinals will be at Blue Springs.
In Class 1, the Girls District 15 vs. District 16 sectional round game will be played at Bishop LeBlond on March 2. The District 14 vs. District 15 game will be in Maysville on March 2. The quarterfinals will be at Gallatin.
On the boys’ side of things, District 13 vs. District 14 game will be March 3 at Maysville and the District 15 vs. District 16 will be at North Platte. The quarterfinal round game will be at Chillicothe.
The state championships will take place in Columbia on March 11-14 for Class 1, 2 and 3. The state championships for Class 4, 5, and 6 will be March 18-21 in Columbia.
