Launch Pad leaders celebrate grand opening

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV)– There is a new place for local entrepreneurs to build their business.

On Wednesday afternoon, Launch Pad leaders celebrated the grand opening of the new place to help startups and support them.

“We do have goals as far as job growth,” said Kristi Bailey, the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce’s Director of Communications and Marketing. “We have people that have already moved to St. Joseph because of the Launch Pad because they have a small company starting here. We really want to be a hub for entrepreneurship for northwest Missouri.”

The St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce received a physical infrastructure grant to make the Launch Pad possible.

The Launch Pad is located at 113 N. 9th Street in St. Joseph.
