Elwood PD to receive equipment upgrades after federal funding

ELWOOD, Kan. (KQTV) -- The City of Elwood announced on Friday, Feb. 6, that its police department will be receiving $402,000 in Federal Funding after an announcement from US Senator Jerry Moran.

The city stated in the press release that this will go toward replacing two patrol vehicles nearing the end of their service life. The money will also go toward replacing body-worn cameras and in-car dash camera systems in all department vehicles.
