St. Joseph native makes first start of 2026 for Royals Wednesday night

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KQTV) Coming off a great rookie season in 2025, Noah Cameron takes the mound for the first time in 2026 Wednesday night.

The St. Joseph, Mo. native will face the Minnesota Twins in Game 2 of the Royals' series with their division rivals.

Cameron finished 9-7 with a 2.99 ERA in 24 starts in 2025 for Kansas City.

The Central High School graduate threw 138 1/3 innings last season and struck out 110 batters.

First pitch tonight between the Royals (2-2) and the Twins (1-3) for 6:40 at Kauffman Stadium.
