Triumph Foods announces $30 million expansion in St. Joseph

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- On April 1st, 2026, Triumph Foods, LLC, announced a nearly $30 million expansion to its facility at Stockyards Expressway.

The expansion is set to increase the company's current cold storage and shipping space, by acquiring and installing new equipment, machinery, and personal property related to the project, setting the stage for increased production.

Matt England, President and CEO of Triumph Foods, says "We are proud of the work we do every day to feed the world, and this expansion is the next step in that commitment. Investing in this expansion means investing in our team members and the community that has supported us throughout our 20 years in operations."

With the expansion extending to St. Joseph's economy.

"Triumph investing in new equipment and infrastructure positions the company for continued growth," said Natalie Hawn, President of the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce. "It’s the kind of forward-thinking investment that strengthens the company as well as our local economy and reinforces our community as a great place for businesses to grow and succeed."

Triumph Foods employs over 2,900 workers, making it the second-largest employer in St. Joseph.
