Atchison County crash leaves one deceased, one hospitalized

ATCHISON COUNTY, Mo. (KQTV) -- One person is dead after a vehicle crash occurred north of Mound City early Saturday morning.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop H, a 2013 Ford F250 was going Eastbound on County Road 310 in Atchison County, .

The vehicle failed to stop at an intersection stop sign, resulting in the truck driving into a tree at 3:13 a.m.

Two 21 year old males from Omaha, Neb. were the passengers of the vehicle.

The driver was pronounced deceased on the scene at 4:10 a.m., and taken to Minter Funeral Home in Rock Port, Mo.

The occupant was taken to Mosaic Life Care by Atchison/Holt Ambulance District.

The driver's next of kin has been notified of the crash.
