ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The St. Joseph Public Library is inviting the public to celebrate National Library Week.

National Library Week is April 19-25 and highlights the many ways libraries can bring people together.

During the week, SJPL invites the community to explore everything the libraries have to offer.

Anyone who visits the library in person during the week can enter prize drawings at each SJPL location.

According to a news release, prizes include a copy of 'Little Blue Truck Makes a Friend' by Alice Schertle and a stuffed toy of the main character for babies to six-year-olds, a gift card from The Shop Bakery for ages seven through 17 and a gift card to The Story Collective for ages 18 and up.
