ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) — One person was injured in a crash involving a semi-truck Wednesday morning.

The St. Joseph Police Department responded to the scene around 6 a.m.

According to SJPD, the vehicle heading north on 22nd Street crossed the center line and crashed into a semi-truck.

Authorities say the airbag deployed. A passenger in the car was taken to the hospital with chest pain.
