Former Northwest All-American to be inducted into Small College Basketball Hall of Fame

FORT MYERS, Fla. (KQTV) -- One of the best point guards in Northwest Missouri State men's basketball history is heading into the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame.

Former Bearcat All-American Justin Pitts has been announced as a member of the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2026.

Pitts guided the Bearcats to a 2017 NCAA Division II championship and earned several postseason honors throughout his playing career.

  • 2,459 career points
  • 575 career assists
  • 114-18 overall career record (68-11 MIAA)

The Small College Basketball National Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on Friday, Nov. 6 in Lakeland, Fla.
