SJSD finalizes head coaching positions for Benton, Central

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The St. Joseph School District has finalized the head coaching positions for Benton and Central High School for the 2026-2027 school year.

An open position remains for the Central boys head basketball coach.

Former Central head coach Jacob Kimble is making moves to Platte County as the girls basketball coach, an announcement made earlier this month.

According to the district's personnel report, Lafayette head boys basketball coach Kevin Bristol resigned from his position.

Here is the full list of head coaches for the 2026-27 school year.

The district's Board of Education approved the assignments on Monday night during its board meeting.
