Maryville freshman wins Class 3 District 4 boys golf championship; Savannah wins team title

RICHMOND, Mo. (KQTV) -- A Maryville High School freshman is the Class 3 District 4 boys golf championship.

On Wednesday, Spoofhounds freshman Colin Hoffman shot a 75 at the district championship in Richmond, Mo.

Odessa's Ayden Williams finished second (76). Richmond's Latimer Cavanah posted a 78 for a third-place finish.

Benton's Kamden Morlock shot a 79 and finished fourth. There was a three-way tie for fifth place. Savannah's Levi Lindley, Excelsior Springs' Landon Cramer, and St. Pius' Triston Wurm all shot an 80.

Savannah's Trip Shuster finished with an 81 on the day for eighth place.

On the team side, Savannah won the team title. The Savages shot a 327. Richmond took second with a 335.
