Willett hosts rally at local farm

ST. JOSEPH, Mo (KQTV) -- One of Missouri's Congressional candidates held a rally at a St. Joseph farm on Wednesday morning.

Nathan Willett is running to replace incumbent Congressman Sam Graves for Missouri's Congressional District 6.

Willett has been a city councilman in Kansas City ever since he was elected in 2023.

"I am the only one with a proven conservative record," Willett said. "I think that's important to people. North Missouri wants a doer, and I am a doer."

At the rally, Missouri Farm Bureau President Garrett Hawkins announced the company's exclusive endorsement of Willett for his campaign.

"What we really appreciate about Nathan is his track record," Hawkins said. "He pushes back on egregious policies, which is exactly what's needed today in Washington, D.C."

Willett is running against fellow Republican candidates Jim Ingram, Cody Oshel, Nathanael Schultz and Chris Stigall.

The primary election will take place on August 4.
