MoWest Collegiate FBLA competes at the National Leadership Conference

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- MoWest Collegiate FBLA students competed at the National Leadership Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, in June.

They competed against students from around the world, with cash prizes awarded to the top three places and trophies to the top 10.

Two students placed in the top six of their divisions.

Aden Monzon, a senior accounting major from Oklahoma City, earned second place in the Sports Management & Marketing event. Wyatt Fisher, a junior management major with a concentration in entrepreneurship from Faucett, Missouri, placed sixth in the Business Law competition.

Other members who competed were Kylie Curtis, Ashton Roe, Valencia Chapman and James Phalen.

Pam Klaus is the advisor at MoWest for the FBLA. They focus on leadership, service and networking.
