Annual Festival returns to St. Joseph

ST. JOSEPH, Mo (KQTV) -- AugustFest is returning and will be held at Civic Center Park on Aug. 7.

The festival will continue until the end of the day on Aug. 9.

The festival will be presented by United Fiber, Belt Rent All, Lanham's Music, and the Special Olympics, Inc.

Admission to the festival is free and will have different food options, as well as vendors and live music all weekend long.

Friday night's headlining act will be Fuzzy Goldwater, Saturday's will be Black Bleed's Through featuring Pyro Flow, and Sunday night's will be Tex Carrol.

Each attraction and food option will be priced separately.

Facilitators said 30% of the proceeds gathered all weekend will be donated to the Special Olympics.
