ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- Thursday's Kansas City Chiefs training camp practice was the team's final practice before their first preseason game this weekend.

The Chiefs will host the Los Angeles Rams at Arrowhead Stadium at 3 p.m. Saturday.

"I'm expecting the Chiefs to obviously come away with the win, but I'd like to see a little bit more of Emmett Johnson out of the backfield," Chiefs fan Brenton Hudelson said. "I'd also like to see a lot of Cyrus Allen too."

The Kansas City Chiefs ended last season with a record of 6-11.

Meanwhile, the L.A. Rams finished their season at 12-5.

Despite last season's unexpected record, many Chiefs fans are optimistic that new additions to the team will help them pull away with a preseason win.

"I mean, the Rams are a good team, with Matthew Stafford and a lot of good guys on that team," Chiefs fan Jackson Raedeke said. "But I'm really excited about these additions like Kenneth Walker. I'm really excited to see what he's gonna do."

Following the game over the weekend, Kansas City has two more scheduled games before the start of the official 2026 NFL season.

The first being against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the second against the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Seattle Seahawks.

The Chiefs will be back at MoWest on Monday for training camp at 9:15 a.m.
