NCMC expands teacher education program to Savannah campus for Fall 2026

SAVANNAH, Mo. (KQTV) -- North Central Missouri College is expanding its teacher education program to the Savannah campus beginning in fall 2026, giving students in rural, northwest Missouri a more convenient path to the classroom.

The Associate in Arts in Teaching degree lets students complete foundational courses and field experience close to home, before transferring to a four-year university for their bachelor's and certification.

Instructor Cassie Cordray says the expansion helps meet the growing need for passionate teachers in local schools.

The program is open to recent grads, paraprofessionals, and anyone considering a career change.

Students can apply now at ncmissouri.edu.
