Johnston brothers win Missouri Four-Ball Championship

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The Johnston family has won its fair share of golf championships, and two of the Johnston brothers added another title to the list over the weekend.

Jeffrey Johnston and Timothy Johnston won the 2026 Missouri Four-Ball Championship at the St. Joseph Country Club on Sunday.

The brothers finished a combined 22 under par (120) to win the title. They started Sunday with a three-stroke lead after finishing Saturday at 12 under par (59). On Sunday, they finished the final nine with a six-under performance to secure the win with a 10 under par (61) for Day 2.

In second place, Bolivar's Aiden Asby and Jonesboro's Hunter Jowers finished with a two-day total of 19 under (123).

As for the Net Division, Jefferson City's Phil Schnieders and Scott Jones won the title after a five-hole playoff. Schnieders and Jones tied with St. Joseph's Reid Atha and Brooks Schoeneck, and Jefferson City's Chris Rackers and Matt Clement. All three teams finished 10 under par (132) to force the five-hole playoff.
