Central battles back to defeat Park Hill South

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- Down 10 at halftime, the Central High School football team battled back for a one-point win over Park Hill South on Friday night.

Central defeated the Park Hill South Panthers 26-25 at Noyes Field.

Park Hill South led 17-7 at the break. Central scored in the third quarter to make it 17-13, but the Panthers pushed the lead to 25-13.

Early in the fourth, Central cut the deficit to one possession, 25-19, on a touchdown pass from Hank Judah to Drake Gilkison.

Central kept Park Hill South off the board, and minutes later the Indians took their first lead of the game, 26-25, on a Judah touchdown pass to Evan Parksel.

Central improves to 3-2 and visits Lee’s Summit North (4-1) next Friday night.
