Reed Chevrolet and M’Shoogy’s team up for pet adoption event

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- Reed Chevrolet and M'Shoogy's teamed up for a pet adoption event at the car dealership's showroom.

Reed Chevy says they reached out to M'Shoogy's for a collaboration to have a dual purpose day, where people who came in to look at cars could see some available cats and dogs for adoption, and vice versa.

M'Shoogy's said they had several families interested in adoption and were grateful for the opportunity to get some potential adoptions.

The dealership says this collaboration is part of their effort to get more involved with the community and use their location for some good causes.

"We reached out to them to see if they want to be part of a collaboration to have a dual purpose day," said Chad Wempen, general manager at Reed Chevrolet. "They were very excited and so are we. It's kind of neat having pets in the showroom, dogs and cats, and people able to come in and see if they can find their next pet."

Reed Chevrolet has more community collaborations planned for the future, one of those being Food Truck Friday that occurs every Friday this month and the next.
