Chase Candy celebrates new ownership

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- A locally owned candy company and a St. Joseph favorite is celebrating new ownership.

Chase Candy Company will celebrate its new ownership with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The event will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29, at 1307 S. 59th St.

The event will feature remarks from former and current owners, followed by a ribbon-cutting. Guests can enjoy refreshments, Chase Candy treat bags and a tour of the facility.

The new owners, Steve Craig and Josh Hegeman, said they look forward to carrying on its legacy.
