MO Proposition A

3,214/3,214 | 100% Precincts
Candidate Party Votes %
No 1,273,815 62%
Yes 785,969 38%

MISSOURI (KQTV) -- Missouri voters have voted down Prop A with 60% of the votes Tuesday.

785,969 voted "yes", while 1,273,815 voted "no."

In Buchanan County, 9,712 voted "yes", while 14,313 voted "no."

A “no” vote keeps the 2022 map in place. A “yes” vote would have put the 2025 map — also known as House Bill 1 — into effect.

If Prop A were to have passed, the biggest change would have been in the Kansas City area. Kansas City is mostly in the 5th Congressional District under the current map. Under HB 1, Kansas City would have been split among multiple districts.
