ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV)-- The St. Joseph School District has cancelled in-person classes for Monday due to inclement weather.

SJSD officials announced Sunday afternoon that all elementary, middle schools, high schools, Hillyard Technical Center, Webster, Keatley's Adult Education classes, and the Early Learning Centers will be closed for in-person classes.

Students will have remote learning and AMI day expectations have been communicated to students by their schools.

The district announced that some after-school activities might still happen, but that depends on the activity and the situation with other schools. Coaches will get in touch with students regarding practices, too.

This is the second AMI Day of the school year for the district and the district has four days remaining.
