EmPowerU STEAM Camp opens for registration

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- EmPowerU's summer STEAM Camps are now open for registration for children to engage in hands-on activities.

EmPowerU will host more than two week-long, half-day STEAM Camps in St. Joseph, July 20-31.

The camp is designed for third to eighth graders. They hope to develop an interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

There are eight camp options to choose from, including LEGO Powered Machines, LEGO SPIKE Prime Robotics, LEGO WeDo 2.0 Robotics, Minecraft Education, Rocket League E-Sports, TYNKER Coding, Virtual Reality Explorers and TYNKER Augmented Reality Coding.

With the guidance of facilitators, participants will build machines, program robots and unlock their creative potential.
