United Way to hold ‘STUFF THE BUS’ school supplies drive

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- United Way is hosting its annual "STUFF THE BUS" school supplies drive to provide supplies to students preparing to start another school year.

Since 2009, United Way has collected and distributed more than 331,000 school supply items to area classrooms and children.

School supplies will be distributed through United Way Partner Agencies and Programs, including The Salvation Army.

Volunteers will be stationed at the North and South Belt Walmarts from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 7 and from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 8, collecting donations.
