Benedictine Living Community to host National Forgiveness Day event

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The Benedictine Living Community is celebrating National Forgiveness Day.

The event will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Darryl Burton will speak at the event about the importance of forgiveness.

Burton was wrongfully convicted of a crime he did not commit in 1985. He was released from prison in 2008 after spending 24 years behind bars.
