Leadership Northwest Missouri recruits 2027 class

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- Leadership Northwest Missouri is accepting applications for its class of 2027.

The seven-month program only requires eight days of participants' time.

Through the program, participants will get opportunities to grow and gain a deeper understanding of the region and meet other leaders in the community.

Leadership Northwest Missouri participants travel throughout the 19-county region and learn about opportunities and challenges facing communities and industries.

The 2027 class will begin with a two-day retreat at Conception Abbey on Jan. 20-21.

The retreat will be led by Tim Crowley, Ph.D., a national speaker on personal and professional development.

The deadline to apply is Nov. 1, 2026. Class size is limited.

Participants will be selected based on their desire to become effective leaders in the region.

The 19 counties consist of Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, Caldwell, Carroll, Clay, Clinton, Daviess, DeKalb, Gentry, Grundy, Harrison, Holt, Linn, Livingston, Mercer, Nodaway, Sullivan and Worth counties.
