Doniphan County Sheriff’s Department release annual report

DONIPHAN COUNTY, Mo. (KQTV) -- The Doniphan County Sheriff's Department released its Public Safety Progress Report Wednesday, detailing policing data from the last year.

The data from 2025 showed a "significant increase in proactive policing, investigative activity, public safety enforcement and offender accountability."

The incident activity in 2025 increased 36% compared to 2024.

Including almost double the amount of arrests, over two thousand more building and town checks and almost four thousand more total incidents.

The Doniphan County Sheriff's Department said it is pleased with the data.

In a news release, the department cited "substantial increases in proactive patrol activity, criminal investigations, search warrants, arrests and court-process service."
