ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) — St. Joseph Christian School announced it would be closed Wednesday due to a high number of absences among its students and staff.

“The decision was made for the well-being of our school community,” the school said in a Tuesday Facebook post.

SJCS said it plans to be open Thursday and will continue to monitor the situation.

“Please be praying for the health and safety of our students and staff. Thank you for your support and understanding.”
