ACAI hosting ribbon cutting for Savannah Aquatic Center remodel

SAVANNAH, Mo. (KQTV) -- After extensive fundraising, the Andrew County Aquatics Initiative (ACAI) is hosting a ribbon-cutting to celebrate the renovation and continued operation of the Savannah Aquatics Center.

Since announcing the pool's closure at the end of the 2025 season, the ACAI has raised over $900,000 to renovate and reopen the Savannah Aquatic Center for the 2026 season and beyond.

To thank donors and mark the reopening, ACAI will host a ribbon-cutting at 5 p.m. on May 21 at the Savannah Aquatic Center, located at 1215 West Chestnut St.
