Three-vehicles involved in a wreck near North Belt and Ashland Sunday evening

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- A multi-vehicle collision disrupted traffic near North Belt Highway and Ashland Avenue Sunday evening.

Three vehicles were reported damaged at the intersection. Authorities alerted the public and advised them to avoid the area at 6:30 pm.

The black SUV was able to leave, but the red crossover and grey truck towing lawn equipment were towed from the scene.

Police, Fire Department, and EMS responded, but the cause and possible injuries have not been determined.

KQ2 contacted law enforcement for details but has not received a response.

KQ2 will provide updates as more information becomes available.
