Benton moves up to No. 3 in latest MBCA Class 4 Girls Basketball Top 10 Poll

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV)-- The Benton Cardinals girls basketball team has moved up in the latest Top 10 poll.

The Cardinals are up to #3 in this week's Missouri Basketball Coaches Association Class 4 Girls Basketball poll.

Benton defeated Lafayette and Maryville last week in Midland Empire Conference action. 

The Lafayette girls are at #6 in the latest poll. Chillicothe comes in at No. 8 and the Savannah Savages are tenth. 

In Class 3, the Mid-Buchanan Dragons are tied for sixth in the latest poll. South Harrison is receiving votes in this week's poll. 

The Rock Port Blue Jays are the second-ranked team in Class 1. Mound City and Stanberry are both receiving votes in the latest Class 1 Top 10 poll.
