MARYVILLE, Mo. (KQTV) Northwest's sophomore Sadie Maas earned the MIAA's weekly honor following a record-breaking performance last week. 

The Bearcat women's basketball team defeated Missouri Southern on Thursday and in the win, Maas recorded the program's first triple-double.

Maas finished with 17 points, 18 rebounds, and 11 blocks. The 11 blocks tied the MIAA single-game record. 

She is the fourth MIAA women's basketball player to record a triple-double this season. 

The Bearcat sophomore added in 12 points and nine board in a Saturday win against No. 20 Pittsburg State. 

Maas averaged 14.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 7 blocks in the two games. 

Northwest will host Northeastern State on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and Arkansas-Fort Smith on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
