Cameron tosses 5 2/3 innings of one-run ball in Royals’ 2-1 loss to Cleveland

CLEVELAND, Ohio (KQTV) — Noah Cameron, a St. Joseph, Mo., native went five and two-thirds innings and allowed just one run for the Kansas City Royals in a cold matinee game against the Guardians on Tuesday.

Cameron, a Central graduate, allowed just one run while striking out five in the Royals’ 2-1 loss to Cleveland.

Cameron picked up a no-decision as the game was tied going to the ninth inning. Cleveland won, 2-1, on a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth.

In two starts in 2026, Cameron (1-0) has pitched 10 2/3 innings and struck out 10. The left-handed pitcher has allowed just two runs and owns a 1.69 ERA.
