Lafayette girls basketball coach named next Cameron Dragons head coach

CAMERON, Mo. (KQTV) -- A Lafayette basketball coach will be leading a different Midland Empire Conference team next season.

Ryan Madison has been named the next Cameron Dragons girls basketball coach.

Madison has been the Lafayette girls basketball coach since the 2023-2024 season. He went 63-18 in those three seasons including two 20+ win seasons.

This was Madison's second stint at Lafayette. He coached the Fighting Irish from 2010-2018.
