Mid-Buchanan baseball completes the shut out against West Platte

WESTON, Mo. (KQTV) -- The Mid-Buchanan Dragons took home their 14th win of the season after defeating the West Platte Blue Jays, 2-0.

Mid-Buchanan senior Harry Archer got the start on the mound. He allowed only three hits, while throwing three strikeouts on the evening. For West Platte, senior Matthew Cook allowed four hits and two runs, while throwing three strikeouts.

Mid-Buchanan now improves to 14-6 on the season, while West Platte falls to 13-4.

The Dragons will be back on the road to face the North Platte Panthers, while the Blue Jays will head to Lathrop to take on the Mules. Both games will be on Thursday with first pitch set for 4:30 p.m.
