Two Kansas City Royals & one St. Louis Cardinal heading to MLB ASG

MLB

MISSOURI (KQTV) -- Players from the Show Me State's MLB franchises will head to the MLB All-Star Game on July 14 in Philadelphia.

From the Kansas City Royals, shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. will start for the American League. This will be Witt's third straight MLB ASG appearance.

Also joining him from the Royals will be pitcher Michael Wacha, who will be making his second Midsummer Classic appearance.

The St. Louis Cardinals will be represented in the big game by outfielder Jordan Walker. This will be Walker's first MLB ASG appearance, and he will presumably take the field for the National League.
