Benton’s Addie Snodgrass signs with Northwest Missouri State dance team

(ST. JOSEPH, MO) - Benton High School senior dancer Addie Snodgrass is signed with the 2-time national champion Northwest Missouri State Bearcats dance team today on Monday.

Snodgrass was a 2-time captain on the Benton poms team and also runs on the track team for the Cardinals, she was part of the relay team that broke multiple school records last season.

Snodgrass decided to go with dance at the next level because she's been a dancer her entire life.

"I started a competition when I was four and I'm Moving on to my last nationals ever, we just finished my last regionals yesterday, so that's just kind of like a heartache. I'm really happy to move like my passion to dance with the Bearcat Steppers, so I'm just happy for that opportunity," said Snodgrass. "I chose Northwest because they have a really good psych program, which is what I'm planning on majoring in. I've been following the Bearcat Steppers for since as long as I can remember. Some former duet partners of mine have been there and they've just been great role models for me."
