Noah Cameron strikes out 5 for Kansas City Royals in road defeat to Cleveland

MLB

(ST. JOSEPH, MO) - St. Joseph native Noah Cameron had his first road start of the 2026 season on Tuesday, playing in frigid temperatures against the Cleveland Guardians.

Cameron pitched 5.2 innings and had 5 strikeouts. He gave up 6 hits but only allowed 1 run before being pulled. The Central High School alum's ERA on the season is now 1.69.

Unfortunately, Kansas City's bats couldn't get hot as the Royals fell 2-1 on a walk-off RBI by Brayan Rocchio in the 9th inning.

The defeat drops the Royals to 5-6 on the season and 2-3 on the road.

Cameron's next start is slated for Sunday, April 12th against the Chicago White Sox at 1:10 pm at Kauffman Stadium.
