Tracking Saturday evening showers, Sunday sunshine

Gray and damp conditions have been the story across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas today, as a low pressure system slowly tracks through the area. Rain will start to taper off from west to east after 3 PM, with a chance of sprinkles and mostly cloudy skies through midnight. Sunday morning could bring areas of dense fog, before sunshine and well above normal temperatures return for the afternoon. Spring-like warmth and dry skies will persist through much of next week, before cooler air returns by next weekend.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, chance drizzle/fog. Low 34.

Sunday: Patchy AM fog, then mostly sunny. High 62.

Monday: Partly to mostly sunny and warm. High 66
