Tracking a warm and gusty Tuesday

Good morning and happy Tuesday.

Temperatures are off to a mild start as you head out the door, with readings in the upper 40s to low 50s. Winds are not too breezy yet, and skies are mostly cloudy as cloud cover continues to increase.

As we move through the morning and into the afternoon, winds will steadily pick up. Gusts will increase throughout the day, reaching the upper 30s to near 40 mph by the evening hours.

A cold front will move through later tonight, bringing a chance for scattered showers late this afternoon and into the overnight hours. Not everyone will see rain, but a few brief showers are possible.

Overnight lows will fall into the upper 30s to low 40s.

Wednesday will still be relatively warm, with highs in the upper 60s. Temperatures ease back into the 60s Thursday before dropping more significantly by Friday. Highs will return to the low 40s heading into the weekend, where they are expected to remain through the remainder of the forecast period.
