Tracking a colder Friday

Our string of warmer air is about to run out as a strong cold front will start to move into the area by late Thursday afternoon. Temperatures reached into the lower 60's across northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri but will soon start to drop as we head into the early evening. There will be a chance for some snow showers as the area of low pressure moves by but we should not see any accumulation as the better moisture is going to stay up to the north of us. The colder air will stay in place and not leave the area until after the weekend with highs staying in the upper 30's and lower 40's. By Tuesday of next week we will start to warm right back up with highs reaching back into the upper 50's and lower 60's.

Tonight: Chance snow Low: 22 degrees

Tomorrow: Mostly Sunny High 39 degrees
