Tracking more heavy rain on Thursday

Thursday will be a warm and windy day here in St. Joseph and across much of northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri. Temperatures are expected to climb into the mid 70's making it feel warmer than it has over the past few days.

The winds will be the big story for the day as they will be gusting out of the southwest at 15-30 miles per hour with some gusts reaching 40 mph. The sky will be mostly cloudy skies throughout the day with limited sunshine during the day.

As we head into the evening , winds should slowly ease up, but it will stay mild overnight. Chances for rain will continue overnight into your Friday morning.
