Tracking T-storms on Friday

Friday will start off fairly mild and quite, with temperatures climbing quickly through the morning. We will warm into the mid 70's by the afternoon, which is well above average for early April.

By the early afternoon to mid afternoon showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop across northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas and some of these storms could become strong to severe. Damaging winds, Heavy rainfall, Hail, and an isolated tornado are all possible.

By Friday evening the showers and thunderstorms will gradually weaken and we might see some linger past midnight before things calm down. Saturday turns cooler with more sunshine across the area and highs will be in the 50's.
