Tracking a mild Monday & overnight freezing temperatures

Good morning and happy Monday.
Temperatures aren’t too bad as you head out the door, with lows in the lower to middle 40s under clear, dry conditions.

We’ll warm up nicely today, with highs reaching the 60s before a cooldown arrives tonight. There is a slight chance for a few light, scattered showers this evening, but many areas are expected to stay dry. Our northern counties, including Bethany, could see some rain briefly transition into snow.

Overnight, temperatures will drop into the lower 30s, near or below freezing. Be sure to bring any sensitive plants inside. This will lead to a cold start to Tuesday, along with cooler afternoon highs that only reach the upper 50s. Scattered showers are possible early Tuesday before drying out for most areas heading into Wednesday.

This week looks very similar to last week, with multiple chances for rain stretching through much of the forecast. The good news is temperatures will rebound, climbing into the low 70s by Wednesday, upper 60s Thursday and Friday, and into the upper 70s by the weekend.
