Tracking a cool and sunny Saturday

After a stormy Friday afternoon with severe weather sweeping across parts of the area, dry skies and chilly air are settling in across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas tonight. Mostly sunny skies and cool temperatures will start off the weekend, with northwest breezes at 15 to 20 mph and afternoon highs in the upper 50s. Sunshine continues Sunday with a warming trend pushing high temperatures into the low 70s.
