Tracking a sunny and warm start to the workweek

Good morning and happy Monday. We’re starting the workweek with calm and much-needed quiet conditions across the region.

Plenty of sunshine is expected today, with high temperatures climbing back into the mid to upper 70s under mostly clear skies. It will be slightly breezy, with southeast wind gusts reaching up to around 25 mph.

Tuesday will be very similar, with mostly sunny skies and highs returning to the low 80s. This dry pattern continues into Wednesday, with temperatures holding in the upper 70s to low 80s and mostly clear conditions.

By Thursday afternoon and evening, there is a chance for thunderstorms to move through the area. We are currently in a highlighted 15% risk, but confidence remains low as this system develops. Rain chances continue through the day Thursday into Friday, with additional scattered chances returning for the weekend.
