Tracking Saturday evening showers, cool and dry Sunday

A warm, dry, and breezy start to Saturday will give way to increasing clouds and scattered t-showers for the late afternoon and evening as a cold front pushes through Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas. Highs near 80 degrees will cool well into the 50s overnight with winds shifting out of the north bringing cooler and drier air to the area for Sunday. Periods of cloud coverage and a slight chance of patchy drizzle Sunday morning leads into a clearing trend for the afternoon with highs in the low 70s. Dry skies prevail for much of the upcoming work week with plenty of sunshine and warming temperatures, as highs rise well into the 80s for several consecutive days.
