Tracking severe weather Monday night

Severe weather will be the story across northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas tonight as a thunderstorm complex will move into the region, bringing the treat of damaging winds , large hail, and heavy rain. The timing looks to be between 5pm and 10pm Monday night.

By Tuesday morning a cold front will have moved by and temperatures will be in the lower 50's and there could be a few left over showers and thunderstorms. After the front moves cooler less humid air will move into the area bringing a noticeable change to the area.

Tuesday afternoon highs are expected to stay in the mid 60's with a breezy northwest wind. High temperatures will be in the lower 40's for overnight lows.
